I just got finished telling my kids about the best cookie I ever had-the Ideal bar- and wondered what happened to them. These were my favorite treat as a child! I don't ever remember having them but it sounds like they were very tasty. I miss them!! Oh what i wouldn't give for an Ideal cookie! There was a whole ritual to my after-school consumption of this sweetest of sins: We would take them out of the 'fridge (I thought that mom would hide them in there, but now I understand it was because of the low melting point of the chocolate).
